I-Sovereign Grace (v.11a)
A-justice (God giving us what we do deserve)
B-mercy (God not giving us what we deserve)
C-grace (God giving us what we do not deserve)
1-"bringeth salvation":His love,forgiveness,righteousness
2-didn't start in the goodness of man,but the grace of God
3-didn't start in the merit of man,but the mercy of God - - - (Ps.86:15) - -
II-Saving Grace (v.11a)
A-salvation is spelled done ("tetelestai;it is finished")
1-to some salvation is subtraction ***
2-to some it is spelled do (Titus 3:5)

a-some say:"but you've got to do your part"***
b-can't mingle grace and works!!!
c-'grace" is God saying;I love you and I want to save you...taking the
initiative and reaching down out of heaven
d-**lot of folks have been starched and ironed,but they have never been washed!
e-we are justified by the grace of God!
f-**military man:fight your way out....liar:bluff your way out....materialist:buy
your way out....alcoholic:drink your way out.....Jesus:"I
am the way,the truth,and the life."
g-***psychology and salvation: psychiarist deals with guilt feelings(tries to
deaden the pain)..grace deals with the guilt!!!
III-Securing Grace (v.11a)
A-a fixed eternal work that is done,never to be undone (Eph.2:8-9) - - 1-not put
on probation (saved by grace and kept by grace)
a-***I wouldn't trust the best 15 minutes of my life to get me to heaven!!!
b-Gen. 6:8:"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the
Lord."..."Noah,come into the ark"....not go..come..God was in the
ark..Jesus-our ark*******
IV-Strengthening Grace (v.11-12)
A-grace means that God loves you just
as you are
B-grace means that God loves you too much to leave you the way
you are
a-***Santa Claus:"you better be good,you better be nice***heaven-hell
b-**growing up:disobeyed-still a part of the family!!!
V-Sufficient Grace (v.12)
A-must appropriate the grace of God (Heb.12:15)-

1-***problem is too big....****minnow swimming around in the
Atlantic Ocean,worrying that it is going to evaporate*****
2-Job:'the Lord giveth and the Lord tketh away.Blessed be the name of the Lord."
