The Holocaust of Abortion

Text:  Leviticus 18: 21-25

Intro:  In America, we have adopted the slogan: "Save the whale,

              and kill the baby".

              Murder is defined by U.S. law as "the ending of a life by

              unnatural means, whether planned or not"

              John McCain "we can never allow another holocaust"

              Oprah "America will be judged by how it treats its animals"

              Legal in U.S. to abort a baby up to 24 hours before normal

              term of pregnancy is ended.

              In history, there has been a mass murder of babies connected

              with every major movement of God:

                  1)  Pharoah's decree to murder all children right before God

                        raised up Moses to deliver Israel out of bondage.

                  2)  Herod's decree to murder all male babies to eliminate

                        Jesus Christ

                  3)  U.S. decree to murder 83 million prior to rapture

              Based of percentages, one fourth of the graduating class of

              2009 will be missing due to murder.

              Abortion is the grossest form of child abuse, and the most extreme

               perversion of parental responsibility, and God will not fail to hold

               us accountable.

              In all the wars fought by U.S., there have been 1.3 million soldiers

              killed.  However, in Satan's ungodly war on humanity, 83 million

              innocent babies have been murdered.

              Throughout history, sinners have killed innocent people in an

              attempt to hide their own sin:

                1.  Cain killed Abel, to hide the sin of an unholy sacrifice

                2.  Sinners killed Jesus, to hide their unrighteousness

                3.  Sinners killed Stephen, to hide their conviction

                4.  Sinners killed the apostles, to hide their lostness

I.  THE SURRENDER OF A GODLY BLESSING

    A)  The Substance of the Blessing (Ps 139:13-16)

           1.  A Covering (vs 13) the word "covering" means "to inter-

                weave".  This describes the protective covering of the baby

                within it's mother's womb.

           2.  A Caring (vs 14)

           3)  A Communion (vs15) God even says that the very undeveloped

                substance of a fetus is known to Him.  This verse leaves no

                doubt as the existence of a relationship between God and an

                unborn child.

   B)  The Seed of the Blessing (vs 18 of text)

          1)  Definition of "Seed"

          the word "seed" means "conceived seed".  God recognizes that

          human life begins at conception, not birth.  God has put a premium

          on the seed. Jeremiah 1:5 "before I formed thee in thy belly I knew

          thee, and before thou camest out of the womb I sanctified thee"

          Satan has always waged war against the seed.(Gen 3; 15 "and I

          will put enmity between thee and the woman, between thy seed

          and her seed").

          2)  Deliverance of Seed

          The Bible tells us that when Mary journied to see Elizabeth, that she

          was pregnant with Jesus Christ and Elizabeth was pregnant with John

          the Baptist. It also tells us that when Mary made the announcement

          that the baby in Elizabeth's womb "leaped for joy".  This passage

          declares 3 great truths about the unborn baby:

           a.  A Mind was present

           b.  Emotions were present

           c.  Physical capabilities were present

           U.S. law says a "fetus" is not a person.  But the same U.S. law says

           that if you shoot a pregnant woman in the stomach, ending her and

           that unborn fetus's life, you will be charged with two murders.

II.  THE SEVERING OF A NATURAL BOND

       The word "severing" means "separate a part from the whole"

      A)  The Natural Bond of Motherhood

             the decision to become a mother is made when the act of sex occurs.

             Planned Parenthood says "we will help you decide whether or not to

             become a mother".  That decision has already been made!

             The Psalmist said "a child is the fruit of the womb".  What good is a

             fruit tree if it bears no fruit.  Or who in his right mind, would nurture

             the tree and then destroy it's fruit?  I believe we could solve the abor-

             problem and the homosexual problem in one act.  Just give them the

             state of California, and build a 50' fence around it.  In 50 years, the

             problem would die out, because there would be no reproduction.

             IITim 3:3 "without natural affection"

      B)  The Natural Bond of Morality

             The Bible teaches that Satan will duplicate every thing God has ever

             done.  In the OT God provided a covering for sin.  In the NT, God

             provided a blood sacrifice for cleansing from sin.  In a very relative

             sense, Satan led mankind to develop the condom as a covering for

             sin, and has led mankind to legalize abortion as a blood sacrifice for

             sin.

     C)  The Unnatural Bond with Murder

            1.  The Forcep process (this method of abortion actually inserts the

                 forceps into the dilated womb and actually tears limbs from the

                 body of the fetus.  The last act is to seperate the head from the

                 body.

            2.  The Solution process (this method is to insert a needle into the

                 womb through the stomach of the mother.  The solution is made of

                 a very powerful salt.  It literally scalds and burns the fetus up.

            3.  The Partial Birth process (this method is used in the latter stages

                 of pregnancy.  it actually allows the birth of the baby, but simply

                 leaves the baby to die after birth.  Barrack Obama is one of the

                 few politicians who voted against a law forbidding this act.

III.  THE SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD

        A)  The Meaning of the Blood

               (Lev 17 "the life of the flesh is in the blood")

               Notice that God said that life is in the blood, not the breathe.

               Abortionists maintained that a fetus is not a human until it actually

               breathes.  A baby in the womb has not breathed, but is connected

               by an umbilical cord to the blood supply of the mother. God has

               placed a value on the blood.  He created with blood flowing through

               body.  His salvation was provided with blood flowing from the body

               of His only begotten son.

        B)  The Misuse of the Blood

              Psalm 94:21 "they gather themselves together, and condemn the

                    innocent blood"

              Proverbs 6:16 "hands that shed innocent blood"

              What can wash away my sin, nothing but the blood.  Satan has

              the counterfeit of abortion to made us think that this act would

              wash away the sin of adultery and fornication.

       C)  The Memory of the Blood

              Ezekiel 16:20 "moreover thou has taken thy sons and thy daughters

               whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto

               them to be devoured.  Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter?

              verse 23 "woe, woe" (this is the only double woe in scripture)
